1- World Famous people are not allowed to enter The Best Of Contests. For example, The Best of Montreal is not about rediscovering Celine Dion. It's about discovering the "next" Celine Dion! [However, a video maker, or even a photographer, can make a video of Celine Dion, or any world famous person or people, and enter it. This does not mean you can simply enter her famous songs and call them your own: her music or usage of any famous person's material would need to be entered as a Video Producer, or something like that. However, any famous material can be "COVERED" by you or your group or band, you just need to clearly state that this is a "COVER" and not your own material.] Local and provincial professionals who are famous locally or provincially may enter; but if you're country-famous or world-famous even - you will be disqualified. Basically The Best of Contests seek to "discover" new talent and skills; but it also can be used to broaden local or provincial talent and skills. If you think you have no chance of winning it, but it is a good venue for broadening your chances of finding a job or increasing sales --- we welcome you. Go for it. Generally speaking however, most who enter The Best of Cities, etc., should be amateurs seeking to become professionals, seeking to be "discovered."2- ALthough anyone can submit a video by simply registering and entering your YouTube Video, only a Member-Partner of either of the Advertising Programs will be considered to WIN the Contest. Except under extreme indigence, entrants must contribute into the Contest Giveaways: they must be "fee-ed" entrants: the Cash Giveaways are essentially funded by advertisers and by entrants. An entrant officially joins The Best of His/Her City, Town, Village by finding an Advertiser IN YOUR CITY, TOWN, VILLAGE and registering WITH THAT LOCAL BUSINESS (Advertisement). You have three ways to find a local business advertisement who is part of your own City, Town, Village Sponsorship:
A-join- Search For Your Own City, Town, Village Here If there is an Advertisement (in your city, town, village) for you to join, it will be in BLACK. If there is no business entity as yet, you have the option of finding one as a Sponsor Captain (see C-join).
B-join- If you own a business, please choose one or both of our Advertising Schematics and advertise with us! If you like the philanthropist role of helping to discover the talent and skills of your community --- join forces with us in a win-win-win situation!
C-join- If you are a Member-Partner who wants a paid position as a Sponsor Captain, please give us a toll-free call at 1-800-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. [Note: You do not need to live in a City to be a Sponsor Captain! Which means you can be a Sponsor Captain for dozens of cities! If you are good at sales, for your two jobs would be 1- finding businesses to advertise; and 2- finding people to participate in these advertisers entries, you might earn a great living being a Sponsor Captain!!!
3- ShareADs.us is not a video hoster. Videos must be hosted on YouTube. Anything acceptable in general YouTube Videos is "probably" acceptable on ShareADs.us. Adult YouTube is not. Also, advertising on your videos is generally acceptable.
4- Anyone can view and vote. (Only 1 vote per video per person! LOL with not having cheating.) But relying on public 1-at-a-time votes is the slow way to be included in The Top 100 (see #5), your initial goal. Because these contests are funded by businesses (their advertising with us), the better way to be included in The Top 100 (the first step towards Winning) is to become a Word-Of-Mouth Sales Agent for a business and at the same time to promote The Best Of Your City, etc. Contest. For each sale you make you receive exponential votes! Do you have to "sell" to get votes? Yes and no. Almost everything you do in life is "selling!" In submitting a video of your talent and skill you are trying to "sell" your talent and skill. Don't be afraid to talk to your friends, family, neighbors, work-mates, school-mates, church-goers, etc. about your entry in The Best of Your City, Town, or Village. And if they want to vote for you, explain to them that the better way for them to vote for you is to purchase a product or service from the business advertiser who backs your entry. This way you'll receive at least 50 votes --- instead of just 1! Hand them the link to the Advertiser's page and let them decide whether they wish to help you more fully by purchasing (putting their money where their mouth is --- and getting something at the same time, like groceries, or clothes, or a TV ...

5- There is no deadline how long this phase of each City, Town, or Village Contest lasts. When we decide, we'll post that it's ending in a couple of weeks.
6- A Submitter must live in the city itself --- not in a suburb of the city. [ The Winner will be disqualified if he/she cannot prove residency in the city or town itself. ]
7- If a Winner is disqualified for any reason, the person with the next highest votes becomes the Winner, etc.
8- The Winner receives the whole Prize Giveaway amount, unless government requires taxing it first. Winners are required to allow us to promote them or advertise them for their Win. No additional imbursement will be paid to the Winner, as long as their winning is over $50,000. Under $50,000. we will pay wages and travel expenses if necessary. Refusal to be promoted and advertised after winning will be considered breach of contract.
9- ShareADs.us also reserves the right to be the agent for Winners, or, if the person or persons already have an agent, a co-agent. All Top 10 Winners are also very talented people, and ShareADs.us reserves the right to promote them as well. Contracts for 10% of their earnings for 1 year on anything brought to them through our efforts are expected to be signed.
